Happy New Year!

 Hey 5th Graders!

We made it through our last class of 2021! This week, we learned the letters Vet and Vav, and explored the "stop sign" vowel. Of course, we had to leave time for some games and to share what we are looking forward to over our nice long winter break.

The next time I'll see you is either Tuesday, January 11th or Wednesday, January 12th. It feels like SO far away, but I know it will pass by quickly. Before we meet again in January, please make sure to practice (out loud!) lines 1-6 on page 47 of your book.

I can't wait to see you again in 2022! Happy winter break, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Shalom Families, Welcome to 5th Grade Chug Ivrit! My name is Liza Pugh and I’m so excited to be teaching your child’s Chug Ivrit class this year. This will be my fifth year teaching Hebrew at Temple Sinai and I am thrilled to be back. I also wear a different hat here at Temple Sinai, which is the Religious School Assistant Director! Go 5th Graders!

Go 5th Graders! You ROCK!!! This week, we learned lines 3 and 4 of the Torah Blessings "Before". Only 1 line left! For homework, please practice these lines, as well as lines 1 and 2. You Rose to the Challenge!

 Hey 5th Graders! This week, we learned the letters CHaf and CHet. We did a challenge where  you tried to spell out movie titles using Hebrew letters! This is HARD, and you did AWESOME!!! You should be so proud of yourselves :) For homework this week, practice lines 1-6 on pages 65 in your book. Then, call my Google Voice Number and read lines 4-6 out loud for me. Don't forget to tell me a joke! Yours may be featured as the JOKE OF THE WEEK! Keep up the great work. See you soon.
