Read Carefully :)

 Hey 5th Graders!

This week, my classes landed in a couple different spots, so make sure to read carefully here depending on what class you are in...

Tuesday 4pm: We learned three new sounds this week! The letter gimel, the "eh" vowel, and the "ee" vowel! For homework, practice lines 1-5 on page 26, then call my Google Voice number and read lines 3-5 out loud.

Tuesday 5pm AND Wednesday 4:30pm: We totally rocked lesson 5 this week! For homework, practice reading lines 1-8 on page 23. Then, call my Google Voice number and read lines 5-8 out loud.

Shalom Families, Welcome to 5th Grade Chug Ivrit! My name is Liza Pugh and I’m so excited to be teaching your child’s Chug Ivrit class this year. This will be my fifth year teaching Hebrew at Temple Sinai and I am thrilled to be back. I also wear a different hat here at Temple Sinai, which is the Religious School Assistant Director! Go 5th Graders!

Go 5th Graders! You ROCK!!! This week, we learned lines 3 and 4 of the Torah Blessings "Before". Only 1 line left! For homework, please practice these lines, as well as lines 1 and 2. You Rose to the Challenge!

 Hey 5th Graders! This week, we learned the letters CHaf and CHet. We did a challenge where  you tried to spell out movie titles using Hebrew letters! This is HARD, and you did AWESOME!!! You should be so proud of yourselves :) For homework this week, practice lines 1-6 on pages 65 in your book. Then, call my Google Voice Number and read lines 4-6 out loud for me. Don't forget to tell me a joke! Yours may be featured as the JOKE OF THE WEEK! Keep up the great work. See you soon.
